Taobao has every cable you could possibly dream up and more I think. I wonder if there’s a cable that will let me hook up the microwave to be controlled by my tv remote so I can have popcorn? It seems all of you are after the same set of transformers toys too. Anyone care to tell me what’s so special about them? We apologize to our customers in Europe. Flights to Europe have severe delays due to the volcano ash being in the middle of flight paths. This means there are also many delays in our parcels going to Europe. How does everyone like it? It is the tomb-sweeping holiday this weekend so we will be suspending operations until Monday since most sellers are also not shipping out any goods until at least Monday. We are pretty tight on space around here and now that the weather is warming up, we are putting away the winter clothes, snowboarding gear, and winter bedding. In an effort to be more space-efficient this year, I decided to purchase some of these vacuum bags off taobao after seeing them on tv. They are supposed to be airtight and keep moisture, mold, and bugs out of your stuff. Below are the results of what happened to a heavy queen-sized down comforter. Before After I’ve got extra bags since I underestimated how much I can fit in these things so now that we’ve sealed up what I’ve originally planned on sealing up, I’m looking around the house for more uses for these things. Haha, I think from now on I’m going to always travel with a couple of these. Fit more stuff and more souvenirs in my luggage allowance. Let’s hope it doesn’t go over the weight limit! I decided to add a bit of Chinese lessons to our blog. I know, why couldn’t Taobao just create an English website right? Remember, English to Chinese speakers is like Chinese to English speakers – just a bunch of sticks and squiggles. Learning a bit of Chinese will help you navigate Taobao. Each character is linked to nciku, a great Chinese learning website where you can find the meaning, the usage, and listen to how the character sounds. Our lesson today is Fashion and Gender. |
